![]() The number of times I've had to dig into an ipages or iwork file because the customer won't pdf the damned thing and my users can't remember how to get into them every few weeks. Unless you just accept EVERYTHING CUSTOMERS SEND YOU, regardless of format. And then drive your users to save things in certain formats to ensure compatibility. On a more serious note, you will probably have to have one or two main readers for files, and then one or two for certain use cases. ![]() And don't even get me started on being able to see all the different images as a thumbnail natively inside Windows itself. ![]() Right now, I have to juggle three versions of Illustrator, three versions of Photoshop, three versions of Corel, two PDF readers (one of them a writer), two versions of Microsoft Word, and the built-in Windows & Thunderbird viewer to get everything to work somewhat properly. ![]()
